Hurricane Irma was downgraded to a Tropical Storm as it made it's way north into Georgia, but still had some devastating effects. Almost 900,00 are without power, and trees and towers down everywhere throughout the state.

Sadly a couple people where killed by falling trees, a 55-year-old man in Sandy Springs and the wife of former Cumming Chief Of Police, Nancy Eason, when a tree fell on their car.
