CBS Exec Fired For Disgusting Comment About Country Music Fans

I hate seeing people politicize tragedy while the wounds are still very raw. It's like they don't even take a moment to think of the human beings we lost or that where hurt by this evil. One CBS Executive lost her job for the disgusting words she wrote about the Las Vegas mass shooting.

Hayley Geftman-Gold, former CBS vice president in business affairs, wrote on her Facebook that she had no sympathy for victims because "country music fans often are Republican gun-toters".

Her twitter and Facebook have been deleted and CBS corp. released a statement confirming her firing saying, “This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families." (LA Times)

What a disgusting human being and thought. I'm glad CBS took quick action to relieve her from her job. The ignorance in those statement is hurtful to us Country Music fans and more so the victims of this senseless act. I am at a loss for words that she thought this was appropriate.
