Jason Aldean has been pretty quiet about the mass shooting in Las Vegas at his Route 91 show, while he was on stage. 58 people where left dead and hundreds more injured .He finally spoke out on the Today show this morning.
"When it first happened, I thought a speaker had blown," he told Today. He said he was terrified like everyone else and it was "pandemonium" as the shots rang out.
Aldean returned to Vegas to meet with some of those who where still in the hospital. "We're all in this together, we spend so much time arguing with each other [over politics and race, ect.] and not enough time on the issue", he said in hopes to create more unity in the world.
"It's something that I'll never forget.... but I hope it gets better for everybody as time goes on."
I think he made several amazing statements in this interview. I think it's important to not let stuff like this divide us, because we need each other. We're all facing this crazy world, the more we split up and fight over petty things, the easier it is for us to fall.
