One Man Prevents Holiday Package Theft With Shotgun Shells


Package theft from your doorstep just seems to be getting worse. We've had some in our neighborhood even. One man took it into his own hand with a creative way to prevent it.... using shotgun shells.

Jaireme Barrow repeatedly would see thieves swiping packages on his surveillance and police weren't really doing anything about it, so he came up with a better plan. He took an empty box, filled it with shotgun shell blanks, and set them up to fire off when anyone picked up the package. (Washington Post)

He's actually getting a patent for the boxes and gonna sell them for $60 a piece.
