Glen Weiss was elated that he picked up his first Emmy last night. He got pretty sentimental about losing his mother a few weeks previous, saying that she would've been so proud. He then turned the speech from sad to EPIC when he took the moment to propose to his girlfriend.
Director Glenn Weiss came up to accept the Emmy Award for his work directing The Academy Awards and made the moment a memorable life moment saying, "You wonder why I don't like to call you my girlfriend? Because I want to call you my wife."
That's when the crowd went wild and she started crying making her way to the stage. He got down on one knee in front of Hollywood's elite to pop the question. She said "Yes".
