A man from Syria has experienced the longest flight delay in the history of man I think!
Hassan al Kontar, 37, had his Visa revoked by Syria while working abroad because they said he failed to complete hi required military enlistment. He has since been banned from many countries for lack of a visa and deported from Cambodia and failed getting a flight to Ecuador. So he's just had to live at the Malaysian airport where he first flew too for over 6 months.
Canadian authorities finally granted him asylum and he just arrived Monday in Vancouver to start his new life.
Talk about flight delay! WHAT?! Holy Cow that sounds miserable!!!
