They based the study on 5 categories: accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, citations and fatalities. While Maine, South Carolina, and Nebraska has the Top 3 worst, Georgia ranked in at 15th worst drivers in the U.S.
According to WSB 2, Fulton County ranked the worst for traffic fatalities in GA in 2017, followed by DeKalb County, Gwinnett County, Cobb County and Bibb County. Texting and speeding are the two biggest factors in traffic issues and fatalities, according to Highway traffic experts.
