Hawaii is the most guilty, but where did our state land? Show of likes... whose drinking on the job?
I may have had a cocktail or two while not wearing pants and doing my show! Guilty. I'd fit in in Hawaii who was found that 67% of people admitted to drinking during work hours, while stuck at home during this Pandemic. Alcohol sales have skyrocketed almost 60% in the past few weeks as people cope with anxiety or stress of the new Quarantine life.
Alcohol.org survey over 3,000 workers in all the states and found some pretty interesting results. Hawaii was most likely to have a drink, while Arkansas was the least likely (with only 8%). 35% of Americans say they are likely to drink more alcohol while self-isolating though. That seems like a REALLY low number to me, given the rise in sales.
For Men, beer and then wine were the preferred drink of choice. While women, however, where more likely to consume a alcoholic drink over men. Beer was also their drink of choice, followed by wine, and straight spirits. (Source: WHO-TV)
