With the #UkraineAttacks happening, one man who works as a Putin Impersonator is now scared to go in public.
Slawek Sobola from Poland looks a lot like Russian President Vladimir Putin and has traveled the world for eight years as a paid impersonator. It's made quite a nice living off of his similar appearance but since Putin has pissed off the world... not only has he lost his job, he believes he could lose his life or be seriously hurt.
He told the Daily Mail, “Before the war, I wasn’t afraid for my safety on the street, but now … I’m a little afraid because in Wroclaw, there’s a lot of people from Ukraine who work and live here,” and he’s afraid of being attacked in public.
“This war is nothing good and I do not think about earning money from it,” he said. “I had a lot of respect for him (Putin) but now I think that this man did a lot of harm and I do not know today how I will play his role in the future. This situation with the war, I am standing with Ukraine. I think that they have to fight.”
He’s no longer doing the act... he’ll just go back to impersonating people less hated... like Bill Cosby or Shanae From The Bachelor.
