Hinckley was released from a psych hospital in 2016 and is now doing folk/country music.

The man who attempted to assassinate Ronald Reagan in 1981 was 25 at the time. He shot and wounded the 40th U.S. president outside a Washington, D.C., hotel in an effort to reportedly impress actress Jodie Foster. Reagan press secretary James Brady was paralyzed and Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy and Washington police officer Thomas Delahanty were both injured. The bullet bounced off of the Presidential limo and hit Reagan in the armpit. He was hospitalized for 12 days but fully recovered. Hinckley was found not guilty of the assassination attempt by reason of insanity and sentenced to treatment. He was released from institutional psychiatric care in September 2016.

For the past few years he's been posting covers and original music on Youtube and has amassed 26,000 subscribers. His first booked show in Brooklyn is coming up this July and it's already sold out. It's only a 450-capacity Hotel but who is paying $20 to see this guy. I'm all for redemption and a second chance... but he's terrible.

What is happening?! This guy can't even aim at a note. Maybe just try being a Math teacher or something. That's what he looks like to me.

John Wilkes Booth is the opener. Should be fun!
