An unknown perp seems to have shot the Johnny Cash mural in a peculiar area... and now it's leaking from his crotch.
Residents in an Arkansas town called Kingsland, the birthplace of Johnny Cash, are upset that someone defaced their Water tower mural of the Man in Black. The tower has a silhouette or the legend on the side and it seems someone shot it in the crotch area. Now Cash seems to be peeing on the town with the water leak that's shooting out.
Betty Graham, water office manager, told the Cleveland County Herald she thought at first it may just be a maintenance issue but a close look revealed it to be more sinister.
Residents of the small town commented things like, “This is just terrible. If they find out who it was they need to give them the max punishment. This is people’s livelihood, their water source."
Another wrote, “Shouldn’t have done it, but as far as creativity goes its 1st class."
I'm sorry but this is pretty hilarious!
UPDATE: Police arrested Timothy Sled and charged him with criminal mischief and impairing the operation of a vital public utility. Investigators say local surveillance footage led them to Sled and that he might have had an accomplice. Officials say the tank lost about 30,000 gallons of water per day and the cost to repair the bullet hole in the tank is about $5,000. (TMZ)
