This terrifying rescue was caught on tape with a man passed out at the wheel and his truck barreling down the interstate.
A driver in a white GMC pickup appeared to be asleep at the wheel as his truck rolled down I-75 in Georgia. Pedestrians tried frantically to get the man to stop the vehicle or bring it to a stop before it hurt or killed anyone. Nothing seemed to be working to get the unconscious man to realize the danger he was in or come to.
Fortunately the truck finally did slow to a stop and that's when more people tried breaking the windows or getting into the truck to see if the man needed medical assistance. Eventually they were able to get into the drivers side door and call 911 to get the man help. He was awake but unaware of what was happening when they finally got into the pickup to speak to him. His foot, according to an onlooker, was still on the gas pedal, as he looked around confused.
There are still good people in the world.
