Trevor Noah and The Daily Show are filming in ATL this week... first stop Waffle House
The Daily Show’s Roy Wood Jr. and Trevor Noah are exploring Atlanta as they do the show here and they had to hit a major ATL staple 1st. In the skit, Roy takes Trevor at 2 a.m. to experience Waffle House... but not quite for the food. Roy explains that "nobody goes to Waffle House for the waffle's man, violence is part of the experience."
The Daily Show kicked off a week in Atlanta in order to cover Georgia’s role in the 2022 midterm elections and it's importance to the nation. The first guest on “The Daily Show” Atlanta week was Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Wonder if he'll give equal time to Governor Kemp? Seeing it's a bit left leaning... I'd guess not but we'll see.
The video ends with Tyler Perry (another staple figure for Atlanta) filming Noah and Wood fighting each other in the Waffle House parking lot!
