For the past eight years, 14-year-old Zack Francom has been selling lemonade and cookies to raise money to buy wheelchairs for kids in need. And his sales at âZackâs Shackâ have been good - heâs raised about $85,000 and has bought close to 400 wheelchairs for kids around the world.
But now, the teen is ready to pass the torch. Zackâs six-year-old little sister, Helen, has started her own lemonade stand, called âHelenâs Hut.â Sheâs going to take over the tradition of selling treats and drinks in front of the family home in Provo, Utah and raise money for more wheelchairs.
âIt was a good experience,â Zack says. âBut I know that Iâm leaving it in good hands.â
