Norma Heath went from homeless to Harvard grad and should be an inspiration to all of us. After losing her job several years ago things started spinning out of control for Norma who then got into drugs and lost her home. She ended up in Rosie’s Place, a women’s shelter in Boston, Massachusetts, two years ago and things started going up for Norma. There, she received counseling and treatment. Part of her therapy was to write down her goals. Her list consisted of a handful of small things – like regularly attending doctor’s appointments to larger dreams like graduating from Harvard University. Earlier this week, 51-year-old Norma made her dream come true and graduated from the Ivy League school with a degree in psychology. (WCVB)
