9-year-old Tyler Carach of Florida is becoming well-known to police officers – in a good way – because he is on a mission to deliver doughnuts to them.
Tyler was inspired to give away the doughnuts after meeting police officers in a local store. He bought some mini doughnuts for them to show his appreciation for their hard work, and then, he asked his mother, Sheena, if he could give away even more doughnuts to officers across the country.
Tyler and his family are beginning a six-week trip to pass out doughnuts, many of which were donated by Dunkin’ Donuts, to police departments along the way.
Before the trip is over, he hopes to donate more than 10,000 doughnuts to officers in many states. (Staten Island Real Time News)
