Last week Erin Hester was heading back to work after her lunch break when she saw something that touched her heart. In the pouring rain a soldier had gotten out of his car and was saluting a funeral procession as it drove. Erin was able to capture the touching moment in a picture then shared it on her instagram. The soldier in the picture has now been found and is speaking out. National Guard Colonel Jack Usrey says he did it because he wanted to show respect to the family of the deceased. He hopes that people will learn that it doesn't take much to do something nice for someone else, even if they are a stranger.
