Reb Beatty is a professor at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. For his financial accounting course he allowed his students to have a "3x5" card with as much information as they could cram on it for their first test of the semester. One student in class, Elijah Bowen, noticed that the instructions only said "3x5" but didn't specify "inches." So he brought in a 3-by-5-foot poster board, chock-full of information. Beatty laughed at the loop hole and allowed Bowen to use his note card. Due to privacy laws we don't know how he scored on the test but we are guessing he did pretty well.
