Nominees for the 45th annual American Music Awards were announced yesterday with several of your favorite artists in the running for trophies. Keith Urban leads the list of this year’s country nominees with three, earning nods for Favorite Country Male Artist, Favorite Country Album for “Ripcord,” and Favorite Country Song, “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
Sam Hunt also landed multiple nominations, and will compete against Keith for Favorite Male Country Artist and Favorite Country Song for his hit “Body Like A Back Road.”
And Garth Brooks also nabbed a nomination this year, not surprisingly for Tour of the Year, where he’ll compete against Coldplay and U2.
