Smyrna K-9 Officer Kept a Veteran From Committing Suicide

This is "The Good Stuff..." Officer Daniel Sperano saved a mans life who was attempting to end his own. Calls came in about a man who was acting "erratic." When Officer Sperano arrived, he witnessed a man that was planning on jumping into the Chattahoochee River. Officer Sperano was able to talk him down and learned that the man was a veteran of the Navy. Officer Sperano, also a veteran, has been nominated for the department’s Medal of Honor and Life Saving awards for his actions.
