We’ve all seen lots of adorable photos on social media of kids on their first day of the new school year, but they’ve got nothing on the “back-to-school” photos Garden View Assisted Living posted on Facebook. The facility in Carroll, Iowa shared pictures of their residents with hashtags like #youngatheart and #lifelonglearners.
Each resident is shown holding a sign, like we see the kiddos doing in their first-day pics, and the signs include their names, ages, and years they finished high school.
The residents also offer advice for current students, like “Pay attention when your teachers talk,” which 93-year-old Arlene shared. And Loretta, who listed her age as 94 and three-quarters wants kids to “study and remember what you learned.”
