A Florida man thought he could sneak away from the scene of a robbery, but he's no doubt kicking himself -- after he left a sneaker behind.
Nicholas Bishop tried to snatch some cash from a kiosk at a mall in Ellenton, but before he could stuff the dough into his pocket, a worker confronted him physically, starting a tussle that knocked them both to the ground.
When Bishop kicked the employee, the guy grabbed his shoe and pulled it off, at which point the 30-year-old ran away with some of the cash.
The victim called 911 to report the crime and turn the shoe over to cops. They ran a DNA test and identified Bishop, who was then eventually arrested.
