David Ayres drives the Zamboni, not play goal in the NHL. That was until this weekend when both goalies for the Carolina Hurricanes were hurt, the team asked Ayres to suit up, making his dreams as a kid come true. Better yet, Ayres WON!! He's the first emergency goaltender to get a win in the NHL's modern era. The Hurricanes won 6-3.
