In Orange County, Florida a man entered a virtual Zoom instructional session and exposed himself to several eight graders. The Apopka Police Department confirmed that they had received a report and are currently investigating. Alexis Neely said her son was in the virtual class and that it was "really weird and disgusting." He continued saying "they were in class, all of a sudden, a man came on the screen who was naked and exposed himself."
Authorities said that the school administration "handled the situation" but released no other information. Marion County Schools gave students Chromebooks, we software to prevent these kinds of hacks but cannot protect against hacks into a third party, like Zoom.
