A special education teacher in Dallas is one of the millions set to receive a stimulus check from the US government during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ruben Caceres isn't working right now but he is still focused on his students. Caceres is taking the majority of his check to make masks for his students. “I wanted to make the masks for my kids,” he said. “I wanted to give them something that they would be able to wear. So that if they wanted to take them outside, they would still be protected.” Caceres said he works with students who are severely disabled and medically fragile. He misses them. "If it was up to me, I'd dress up in a hazmat suit and work with each of them."
