Teen Drivers In Georgia Won't Need Their Final Driving Test During Pandemic

If you're teen is waiting for their final drive with an instructor, that doesn't have to happen. Georgia officials will rely on your "OK" to get your teen licensed. Normally, a teen will do a final drive with an instructor but due to COVID-19 and social distancing, that has become a harder task to manage. Now, if you deem your child safe enough to drive, they will grant them a license. Before the pandemic, the list of drivers to get licensed was around 5,000. Now that number has reached 30,000. Be mindful, this is a temporary decision.
