For most of his racing career, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been chasing others and seeking affirmation. In his early racing days he won a Busch Championship and his two races in his rookie season at the highest level but then, tragedy struck. In 2001, Dale found himself reeling after the untimely death of his father, The Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt. While Junior never won a series championship he did receive 76% of the vote for the Hall of Fame. Even Junior appreciated the nod since he feeds off "affirmation."
