Pictured above is Alanna Rizzo, she handled the on-field duties while Melanie Newman, an Etowah High School graduate, handled the play-by-play. Newman, a broadcaster for the Baltimore Orioles is no stranger to the both but the reason it's a big deal, this is the first all female broadcast team in MLB history. Newman was in the booth with Sarah Langs. Rizzo stayed on the field. Heidi Watney and Lauren Gardner hosted the pregame and postgame duties.
