Ever seen a picture that you feel isn't real? That is almost every picture of Telluride, Colorado. I was the guest at a wedding on a very quick weekend trip. After renting a car, driving the two plus hours from Grand Junction, I witnessed the different landscapes that Colorado has to offer. Every turn was unique and brought along a very simplistic feeling. Once we pulled into Telluride, I immediately transported into the Wild West and how settlers may have felt getting into town. Can you imagine being in a covered wagon and pulling into the middle of two massive mountain tops, the kind that make you feel like touching the moon is a possibility?
Before the wedding I had some time to explore so I jumped into the Ford Explorer and made my way down a road with no idea where it would lead. I found myself going up the mountain on several unpaved switchbacks. At the top was Bridal Veil Falls, a gorgeous waterfall that cascades over the town.
