Lady Gaga will make her live TV performance comeback at next month's MTV Video Music Awards.
The pop star has been rehabbing for the better part of the year after undergoing hip surgery for an injury she sustained on tour earlier this year. Gaga was forced to cut her trek short due to the injury, which left her unable to walk. MTV says the singer will perform the first single from her new album ARTPOP live, for the first time, at the August 25th event. No other performers have been announced as yet.
Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the list of nominees with six VMA nods each. This year's show will also feature a new "Moonman" trophy, created especially for the VMA's debut at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
