KRISTEN'S STORY - WINNER

STRANGER OFFERS TO HOST RAIN-SOAKED WEDDING

If you plan to have an outdoor wedding, you always need a plan B in case of rain. Or, you need to be as lucky as Dulce Gonzalez and her husband, Ariel.

The couple had the perfect beach wedding planned last month in Mississippi. Unfortunately, the day was washed out by thunderstorms.

The couple and their guests sat in their cars waiting and hoping for the rain to stop, but it didn't.

At the same time, 67-year-old Cynthia Strunk and her husband sat inside their beach house watching the disappointing scene play out and they couldn't help but feel terrible for them.

Cynthia then got an idea. She ran outside in the rain to invite the bride and groom to have the wedding inside their house. She just asked for 10 minutes to move some things around.

The bride and her family were so touched by the gesture and couldn't stop thanking her for offering her home. Moments later, with all of their guests sitting in folding chairs inside Cynthia's living room, The couple exchanged vows and said "I do."

Gonzales says, "They had everything set as if we actually planned it. It was perfect. I told my husband that [the Strunks] were little angels that God sent us.”
