KRISTEN'S STORY - WINNER

Today is National Hug Your Boss Day

Everyone likes to feel appreciated...and this a day to promote positive working relationships. The idea is that if you’re happy enough to hug your boss, then you are more than likely enjoying your job. And other than the obvious (that no one wants to spend vast portions of their day being unhappy), this leads to better morale/motivation at work and therefore productivity.

So bosses out there – be good to your people!  And “people?” Be good to each other – and remember… as much you like good feedback, your boss probably does, too. And if you really want to get into the spirit of the day, send in a photo or a video of you hugging your boss or colleagues to hugyourboss@tiptopjob.com, upload it to the National Hug Your Boss Day Facebook page or share via Twitter using the hashtags #hugyourboss or #hugyourbossday.

JASON'S STORY -

Man Tries To Rob Waffle House With BB Gun, Gets Shot By Customer

A man, armed with a BB gun, attempted to rob a Waffle House in Villa Rica. But he was the one who ended up getting shot, authorities said. The suspect entered the restaurant on Ga. 61 around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and pointed his weapon at employees, Villa Rica police said in a Facebook post.

A customer then shot the suspect, who dropped what turned out to be a BB gun and ran away, the post said. Witnesses told police the suspect left in a small, dark-colored vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Villa Rica police at 678-840-1320.
