KRISTEN'S STORY -

Teen Finds And Returns Purse With $10K Inside

What would you do if you found a bunch of cash and had no way to identify the owner? When it happened to Rhami Zeini, he did the right thing and turned it in. The 16-year-old was driving home from school in Santa Barbara, California when he spotted a black purse in the middle of the road and pulled over to get a closer look.

When the high school junior looked inside, he found more money than he’d ever laid eyes on: $10,000 in cash. Rhami couldn’t find the owner’s info, so he told his parents and they took him to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office to turn it in. The owner was located and the money was returned, thanks to the honest teen. The purse’s owner was so grateful, she gave him $100 for his good deed.

"To me, I figured this is the right thing to do," Rhami says. "If the roles were reversed and I had lost something with a significant sum of money inside, I know I would want it back for sure."

JASON'S STORY - WINNER

This Man Waded A Mile And A Half Through Floodwaters For Love And Cigarettes

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The floodwaters were up to his chest.  But that didn't stop Patrick Wolvin.  He was in search of cigarettes! Yep...his wife needed some cigs.  And we've all heard it - "Happy Wife...Happy Life."

Wolvin sloshed a mile and a half through the waters of the overgrown Little River from his home in Spring Lake near Fort Bragg, past the floating cars, the submerged Starlite Motel and the swamped Sunoco gas station, to the nearest shopping center.

Wowzers.
