JASON GOT SCAMMED!
Jason got a call from his bank yesterday. Or so he thought. In his defense, the number was identical to his bank. He was told he has a couple of fraudulent charges on his account. The person was incredibly professional and let Jason know that they would need to close his account and re-issue a new debit card. After giving her his information, she then changed his PIN for him. Within 90 seconds, $2,000 was withdrawn from his account.
He's kicking himself for giving his PIN number. But hey...that's why they call it a SCAM. They catch you off guard...then take advantage of you. Poor Jason! His bank is covering the charges! Thank Goodness!
