Tim McGraw and Jon Meacham are coming to town this weekend. The Country Superstar and Pulitzer Prize winning Author will make a stop at the Coca-Cola Roxy at The Battery this Saturday for the "Songs of America: Patriotism, Protest, and the Music that Made a Nation" book tour. This won't be your regular book signing.
"It's more like we are inviting people to a fireside chat." Meacham said.
"I'll sing some of the songs we mention in the book as well as some of my songs that fit the theme." Tim said in my most recent podcast.
The two have been neighbors for quite some time and after many discussions came up with the idea to write a book about how songs and music have shaped our country. The 11 city book tour kicked off last week in NYC.
