Atlanta Motor Speedway helps feed surrounding community

Atlanta Motor Speedway is helping feed the community of Hampton. AMS has partnered with Hampton Elementary and the Atlanta Community Food Bank to feed families in need. On April 3, more than 500 families were served during a mobile market at the Speedway. All told, the event provided food items for more than 2,200 people.

The Mobile Market will open again!

Families in Hampton are eligible for 40 pounds of food for free beginning at 11am on Friday April 17 and Friday, April 24.

The pre-bagged groceries will be available both days for as long as supplies last. People are asked to drive up and volunteers will load the bags into their trunks so there will be limited to no contact.

“Our Speedway has always had a sense of community. We take pride in looking for ways to give back to Henry County and the residents of the surrounding area, particularly during these uncertain times,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison. “That’s why we’re proud to be teaming up with Hampton Elementary and the Atlanta Community Food Bank to put on these market days and make a positive difference for Hampton families.”
