Furkids Animal Rescue van stolen. You can help replace it!

The van used by Furkids Animal Rescue for it's Johns Creek thrift store was stolen this weekend.

The organization uses the van to transport donated items to Furkids' thrift stores, animal shelters and adoption centers around metro Atlanta.

Insurance won't cover what is needed to replace the vehicle, the organization said, and it needs $15,000 to fill the gap.

"We rely on these vans to save lives," Furkids wrote on Facebook. "Can you help us get this show back on the road?"

You can donate to help them purchase a new vehicle on Furkids' website.

You can also mail a check to 5235 Union Hill Road, Cumming, GA 30040.

By the way - keep an eye out for the van - Georgia license plate number of RHP8476 - contact Johns Creek police if you see it!
