Freddie Freeman and other Atlanta Braves players test positive for Covid-19

Atlanta Braves Manager Brian Snitker told reporters over the weekend that four Atlanta Braves have tested positive for Covid-19. Atlanta Braves four-time All-Star Freddie Freeman, premier reliever Will Smith, as well as Touki Toussiant and Pete Kozma all have the virus. Only Freeman and Kozma have symptoms.

Freeman's wife took to social media with an update and to get her point across that Covid-19 is real:

"Most of you might know by now... Freddie tested positive for Covid-19 last night. He has had body aches, headaches, chills and a fever. He is someone who rarely gets sick and this virus hit him like a ton of bricks. So far, Charlie, Carol and I are ok. We appreciate all the messages and prayers, please keep them coming for healing and protection for the rest of our family. 🗣Please take this virus seriously, wear a mask when in public and wash you hands frequently."

"This virus is real. It's nothing to mess with." Braves Manager Brian Snitker stated
