You may have heard that scrunchies are back, but that hair accessory from the â90s isnât the only thing from that decade thatâs popular again. According to parenting site BabyCentre, baby names from the 1990s are trendy again.
BabyCentre says the reason for the â90s name comeback is the previous trend of giving little ones vintage names that were popular way back in the 1920s and â30s.
âWhile these â90s names may sound overly-familiar and even old-fashioned to us â80s and â90s kids, theyâll be a breath of fresh air among all the Ivyâs and Noahâs at nursery and playgroup,â the site explains.
These are the â90s boysâ names weâll be seeing more:
- Bradley
- Daniel
- Ryan
- Christopher
- Lewis
- Nathan
- Connor
- Scott
- Nicholas
- Peter
And these are the â90s girls names set to make a comeback:
- Maria
- Courtney
- Helen
- Heather
- Bethany
- Lydia
- Kimberley
- Naomi
- Abbie
- Harriet
