After hosting mornings on The Bull for fifteen years, Kristen made the move to afternoon drive in August of 2022.   But her love of country music and all things “Georgia Country” started over 30 years ago. In fact, she was already hosting a morning show while finishing her last year of college. She has also dipped her toe in television, winning an Emmy Award for a primetime special about CMA Fest in Nashville.

She has two boys in college so she’s finding herself with extra time to explore new hobbies and travel. She loves ALL sports – especially the Atlanta Braves and UGA Football! She’ll never turn down a holiday movie and her favorite thing to do is clean and organize her house (seriously…she loves it).

Kristen has a special relationship with listeners. Because of her investment in them, they have invested fully in her. She has taken the biggest challenges in her life and discussed them openly on the air with the hope that her journey can somehow help or impact others.

Kristen battles a rare form of stomach cancer and she’s thriving after having a brain tumor removed in 2019. As a result, she takes every opportunity to encourage listeners to be advocates for their own health.

Her non-profit work includes Sunshine on a Ranney Day, The American Cancer Society, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and local emergency fundraising efforts.
