Boston Police Will Increase Patrols at Concerts in the Wake of the Manchester Concert Attack

Boston's Police Commissioner William Evans says there is no specific threat to our city in the wake of the horrific concert attack in Manchester.

But the Boston PD will step up their patrols around concerts and festivals anyway-- no one is taking any chances.

Commissioner Evans spoke with the Boston Globe, saying,

“Just when you think things are getting safe and secure, we are reminded that terrorism is a real life, day-to-day thing that we have to worry about. It’s pretty sad that someone would blow up a venue with young children. It just points out how treacherous these people can be.”

You can help by avoiding carrying large bags or wearing large, baggy clothes to concerts and festivals.
