Frozen Potatoes Recalled Because They Might Include Golf Balls...

Frozen hash browns have been recalled because they might contain chopped up golf balls.

McCain Foods USA Inc. announced a recall of two-pound bags of frozen hash browns because, according to the company, golf balls "may have been harvested with potatoes used to make this product."

It's unclear exactly how golf balls could have been harvested alongside potatoes...

Check your freezer and look for the production code date of B170119. The potatoes in question were sold under the brand Roundy's at Marianos, Metro Market, and Pick 'n Save supermarkets in Illinois and Wisconsin. They were also sold under the Harris Teeter store brand in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
