Target Gears Up for the Holidays With MAJOR Announcement

I know, I know. It's only September.

But this news has nothing to do with Christmas trees!

Target announced that in order to prepare for the holiday season, the stores are hiring a whopping 100,000 new employees!

That's 23,000 more than they hired for the 2016 holiday season!

The company plans to begin hiring their new employees in mid-October which gives you some time to polish up that resume and get your references in order. According to CNN, "Target will hold recruiting events at each of its 1,800 stores from October 13 through 15. The company says applicants can interview and even be offered jobs on the spot." You can also apple on their website. Holiday employees receive some benefits like a 10% discount, and 20% for fruits, vegetables and other "wellness" products.

If you're looking for some part-time work this fall/winter, head to your local Target!
