WalletHub put together this great list for folks who are itching to travel this holiday season. The site looked at 100 of the biggest metro areas to determine the Best Places For Christmas based on 29 key indicators of a festive and affordable holiday. Indicators fell into four categories:
- Traditions and Fun - like Christmas events, ice skating rings and restaurants
- Observance - which focuses on churches per capita
- Generosity - as in how much people donate and give during the holiday season
- Shopping - which is pretty self-explanatory
I'm not sure why Honolulu didn't make the list... It seems like an obvious choice to me! But Vegas would be AWESOME on Christmas day, so I'm glad that made the cut!
