I can't think of a more fun way to get to work than gondola... Except maybe zip-lining, but it's a little too cold and snowy here in Boston for that to work. And let's be honest... ANYTHING would be better than the T!
So that's why I fully support the new proposal to have a gondola for commuters above Boston!
The proposal is to have a 1-mile system that would take thousands of daily commuters between South Station and the Marine Industrial Park via Summer Street.
The city of Portland has a gondola, known as the Aerial Tram, that's hugely popular and also REALLY cool!
