Little Big Town’s new album, The Breaker landed in stores last Friday, and fans may be surprised to find out that the band didn’t write that many songs on it. Totally understandable, given the year they had!
Karen Fairchild says the album was recorded during one of their busiest years and after recording an album with Pharrell, and then touring on their own and with Luke Bryan, there were just a “million distractions” on the road that made it difficult to write songs.
But it’s not as though the album suffered for it. Karen offers, “we had also the blessing of having all of these incredible songs sent to us and they seemed to be piecing themselves together.”
