There’s some good news and bad news for Nashville fans. CMT has decided to order a sixth season of the hit drama, although it will only contain 16 episodes, as opposed to previous seasons that were made up of 21 or 22.
Meanwhile, the second part of season five is set to return to CMT on June 5th. The show has also just announced the addition of “Big Little Lies’” Jeff Nordling, who’ll play an “extremely successful, charming, egotistical, narcissistic owner of the most successful record label in Nashville.”
