Sam Hunt is celebrating after "Body Like a Back Road" hit the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart over the weekend.
“You know, I try to think of titles or lines that’ll cross my mind and I’ll put ‘em in my phone, and this was one that I wanted to write for a while – the title ‘Body Like a Back Road,’ and umm… When we finally finished it, it finally hit me as ‘Ok. Wait a minute. Maybe I underestimated the potential of this song. I think this could be a fun song and it will connect with folks.’ Fortunately folks have enjoyed it.”
Luke Combs' "Hurricane" follows at number-two, while Kelsea Ballerini's "Yeah Boy" jumps two spots to number-three. Brett Young's "In Case You Didn't Know" moves up three spots to number-four and Dierks Bentley's "Black" rounds out the top-five.
