Sam Hunt’s latest single “Body Like A Back Road” is a surefire hit, topping the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for a 12th week, and the Country Airplay, Country Digital Songs Sales and Country Streaming Songs chart for a second week.
Sam says he didn’t expect the tune to be that huge, noting that it’s “not like anything from the first record.” He’s especially happy because since it’s from his upcoming second album that means he hasn’t suffered a “sophomore slump.”
Sam notes, “I’m just so glad that this song has reacted right off the bat and I don’t feel like I’m behind the eight ball.”
