Luke Combs Gives Us A Fun Breakup Song

Luke Combs‘ new song “When It Rains It Pours” is the follow up single to his number-one hit “Hurricane” from his number-one album This One’s For You. Luke admits that thanks to his co-writer, the tone of the song changed from what Luke originally intended to write it as “I had the title in my phone, and my co-writer said, ‘man that sounds like a super depressing song,’ and that was kind of the idea when I came in the room with it. And he said ‘why don’t we make it a fun song?’ so we kind of wanted to make it this fun kind of break up thing, that people could sing along with and kind of laugh at, but also, you know, relate to.”
